Carrots should be Firm (not flacid or limp), straight with a uniform taper from 'shoulder' to 'tip', Bright orange and there should be little residual "hairiness" from lateral roots.
Mr Duke's Carrots are harvested by machine and carefully hand selected in the packing.
CARE & HANDLING:
Ideal storage temperature is 33° / 35°F and 98 relative humidity.
At optimum conditions, 'Cello Pack' Carrots should have good quality after storage from 3 to 4 weeks. Loose carrots should have good quality after storage up to 4 weeks.
Store carrots away from ethylene-producing fruits to minimize spotting.
