Lechuga

Green leaf Lettuce has a v shaped frame with curly green leaves which span from a single stalk, instead of making a compact head.
Red Leaf Lettuce has a similar V-Shaped frame as the green Lettuce, but transitions from a green base a red tinged color at the top of the plant.



CARE & HANDLING:

Mr. Duke's Leaf Lettuces are vacuum cooled. Storage at 0°C (32°F) with >95% RH is required to optimize the postharvest life. A shelf-life of around 21 days is expected at this temperature. At 5°C (41°F) a shelf-life of about 14 days can be expected as long as no ethylene is in the environment
